Z's job is all screwed up now that the department he was in has dissolved. They are sending everyone back to training for 7-8 weeks and then everyone will have to take up a new position within the company.

The good? He still has a job, at least he wasn't laid off. He will not lose any pay.
The bad? He hates this change, of course. He wants to look for a new job. His hours, right now, are 8:30am - 5:30pm. They used to be 7:30am - 4:00pm

It wasn't so bad for me, being home during the day. He left before the kids woke up and he was home by 4:30pm. Now, he won't get home until 6pm. The kids are used to eating dinner by 5pm and are usually in bed by 7:30-8pm. This change will put a dent in family time.
I know, he has to do what he has to do but I don't have to like it. Him looking for another job is fine but I have no clue where he'll be able to find one starting at what he makes now. We're a family of 5 on one income. *sigh*
