The Full Moon this month is known as the Quickening Moon and also sometimes the Hunger Moon or Ice Moon.

February is definitely a very neat time of year. You mentioned quickening and pregnant animals due in the spring -- that reminds me of when I was pregnant with my son. I wasn't due until July, but I definitely began to feel tiny stirrings of movement by March!

Can you do a post to let us know what types of spells should be done on a full moon and what types under a new moon? I keep reading conflicting information. Thanks, Witchy Mama.

My husband's birthday is this month (tomorrow).
