February is definitely a very neat time of year. You mentioned quickening and pregnant animals due in the spring -- that reminds me of when I was pregnant with my son. I wasn't due until July, but I definitely began to feel tiny stirrings of movement by March!

Isn't it so neat? It's true of nature too. There are so many wonderful things stirring in the earth, just waiting to pop out.
