So, I am now using the free domain that blogger offers...the URL to this site is now:

"This is the time to give your home a good thorough cleaning in preparation for a visit from Brigit. If you happen to have a fireplace, it especially should be cleaned very well. As a part of the magical purification of the house a birch branch should be used to symbolically sweep the floors. Birch has strong associations with Brigit, and has long been used for rites of purification and new beginnings.Personally, I love using essential oils for cleaning. What about you? What are your favorite essential oils to use for cleaning?
All of this work should be completed prior to the eve of Imbolc, when a small dish of butter should be placed on a windowsill and a fresh fire kindled in the hearth or a candle lit in honor of Brigit."
I've neglected this blog since getting a full time job outside the home. That's a story for another time. Right now, I want to thank those of you who are still here, checking in on my blog, following me on Twitter, and who "like" my Facebook page.
I have these cute overall treat bags and I think they make the perfect "THANK YOU" for one of my readers. Although the giveaway ends ON Ostara and the winner won't have them in time for this Ostara, whomever wins is getting a nice Ostara gift AND can use them next year or this year for Easter, if you so choose...
SIDENOTE: I'm not big on celebrating Christian Holidays and a quick blog search on the matter will explain my 'why' - so feel free to read those entries if I've piqued your interest.
So anyway...check out these adorable Ostara overall treat bags! The photos don't do them justice.
I am FINALLY getting around to decorating for Mabon. I went over to the other house to get all the decorations that had been packed up and stored in the attic. This Mabon wreath is my favorite - I am so happy to see it held up over the years.
Apparently my ex reads this blog - and most likely some of his family. Anyway, the last post, where I talked about going through a divorce, struck a nerve. He feels that post came off as though I blame him 100% for the divorce. I told him I will make a post tonight and straighten that out. So, without further ado, let me set the record straight.
We've been officially separated since March 2015 - that's when I moved out. He moved at the end of July.
"Poor Lisa...husband walked out on the house...In default 8k...Lisa had nothing to do with it."I was the one who wanted to end the marriage. I left (mentally and emotionally) long before I left physically. I never blamed all of this on him. I wholeheartedly admit I was the one who wanted to end things. I don't know how many more times I can say that.
Just a quick update: I'm about to go through a divorce. We've been officially separated since March 2015 - that's when I moved out. He moved at the end of July.
I've been moving my own things out, slowly. My kids don't have anywhere to go with a lot of their stuff. Dante doesn't care about most of his stuff, but he made sure to take the keyboard he had over there, along with a work mat (it's for a work space to protect the floor, countertops, and tables), which I'm surprised he didn't take with him.
I've been trying to keep it together and keep my spiritual side in check. I mean, I need spirituality and inner strength to get through all of this.
