I spend a lot of time online - not just working but also browsing; looking for the latest fashion trends, the best deals, etc...

For some reason I've been paying attention to maternity wear lately. No, I am not planning for more babies; I just happened to stumble upon a site that had really pretty maternity dresses and I thought "wow, maternity clothes have come such a long way from when I had to wear them!"

One site in particular (very.co.uk) has some lovely free flowing maternity dresses - perfect for feeling comfortable in the summer when it's hot out! So to my pregnant friends, I wanted to pass along this information. I fact, I picked out a few of my favorite maternity dresses:

This one I could see being worn for Lughnasadh. Not sure why, just the vibe I felt as soon as I saw it:

Now this Maxi dress has adjustable straps so you can alter the fit all the way through your pregnancy.


I loved being pregnant. I was fascinated by the whole idea of another human being growing inside of me and me being solely responsible for the baby's well-being.  Of course, feeling like a Goddess helped too!

Dressing babies and kids is fun because you can get creative by mixing and matching outfits. When my daughter had her Wiccaning, I searched high and low for the right outfit. I did not want a traditional gown (the kind used for baptisms)--I actually wound up ordering a beautiful dress online.

There are so many reasons to choose the right outfit for certain occasions. Often times these baby clothes become keepsakes. I know I will be giving Olivia her Wiccaning gown to her when she is older.

A friend of mine is planning a Wiccaning for her twins (boy and girl) in early November. She is in the United Kingdom and unfortunately, the site I got Livi's baby clothes from does not ship internationally. I decided to dig around online for sites in the UK and came across Very.co.uk and I think this site would be perfect for her to find exactly what she needs.

Her children are toddler age. Buying for boys, I think, is pretty easy, thee really isn't too much to choose from, outside of casual or dressy. However, with girls, wow, you can go all out!  There were always cute clothes to pick from when Olivia was a baby/toddler but now, the fashion has gotten so unique.

So browsing this Very site, I came across a little girl's outfit that I find absolutely adorable. It is a pretty layered velvet skirt in deep purple, with a cute flower embellishment. There is also a long sleeved embroidered jersey top and a knitted pink cardigan with more flower embellishment and embroidery:

I wish I had a baby girl to buy for now! I love the boots on this  little girl. To me, they absolutely make the outfit! Kind of reminds me of the olden days when those kinds of boots were all girls wore.

Do you wear a ritual robe? If you do, where did you get it? Was it handmade? Did you order online? Go to a local Pagan shop?

I'd like to get one, I'm not crafty so I won't be making one. I've thought about ordering online because I am used to buying online, even clothes (I love the rocawear stuff I find online) but it's probably best to try a robe on before buying.

Looking for ideas/suggestions please ;-)

This time of year I find myself reflecting back on the year's events, 'walking down Memory Lane' if you will. I know most people find themselves doing this in December but for me, it's always been October.

This year went so fast. Olivia started Kindergarten, Dante AND Wyatt began potty training. When Zyon and I went shopping for Fall/Winter clothing for the Witchlets, I found myself veering towards the baby clothes and then had to redirect myself. They aren't babies anymore. It's a bittersweet feeling, actually.

I miss the baby stage though. I know, I've been told I am crazy but hey, it's the truth. Kids' clothing are cool but it was always so much fun buying clothes for 'the baby'

I have been giving Wyatt's clothes to a friend of mine, her son is a year younger than Wyatt so it's a perfect hand down. I almost held on to them all, just 'in case' but I figure, if I do get pregnant again, I'll just enjoy my last time of getting to shop for a baby - of my own!

Yes, I watch "So You Think You Can Dance" and a few of the dancers had these t-shirts on. Now, c'mon, you DO know what that means, right? I did a search on this to see if they can be purchased online because Olivia, who loves to dance and stays up just to watch the show, said she'd like one.
