During the holidays, especially on Cyber Monday, I scoured the Internet looking for simple yet meaningful gifts to give to my Witchlets on Yule. The best gift they received though, was not from me, but from a dear friend and mentor, Mama Carmen.
She has a website where she sells handmade Pocket Pentacles and she sent these to my Witchlets for Yule.
Information from her website:
"The Pentacle is the symbol of the Wiccan religion, as is the Star of David in the Jewish faith or the Cross to the Christian. The star represents the elements - Earth, Air, Fire, Water - and Spirit. The circle represents the God/Goddess and/or the cycle of life, death and rebirth."These Pocket Pentacles have been perfect for teaching my Witchlets all about what the pentacle symbolizes as well as color symbolism.
These are perfect to place on your altar or to carry with you. Carmen is a dear friend of mine; she performed Olivia's Wiccaning ceremony
Check out her website Pocket Pentacles and get a few of these for yourself or someone you love :)
Are there any Pagan shops that are local to you that you absolutely love? There is one in my area, Ostara. It's hidden away yet not hidden, if that makes sense? it's in the historic district of a nearby town.
The first time I was ever there I was amazed, they have so much stuff and they are up on the latest technology--I think I saw a tm-t88iv receipt printer during check out! Now, that may sound silly but there was a new age shop I used to go to and buying things from them was actually painful, they only took checks!
Another shop that is sort of close to me is Celtic Myth and Moonlight. It's about a 40 minute drive for me but it's so worth it!
Are you lucky enough to have a shop close to you?
