Today the New Moon is in Gemini, there is 0.2% of lunar illumination, and 15 days until Full Moon.

During New Moon I always like to focus on a change; it can be small or something major, just depends on what is going on in my life at the time. I told a friend of mine once, to utilize the New Moon for new beginnings.

He decided to try for a career change during New Moon -- wanted something new in the line of tech jobs and although I didn't encourage or discourage he ask for something so broad, I did suggest he read this blog entry I posted: Job Spell--My Lesson Learned

New Moon is here and for me it certainly signifies a huge transition. Just got back from a much needed vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth 5 days ago and I am finally beginning to feel re-energized.

I've made some career transitions over the last 2 months and everything is falling into place. I work 'full time' for Demand Studios as a freelance writer and part time for other freelance companies: Break Studios, Experts123 and The Content Authority. Demand Studios is my main source of income. I have a blog related to my work at home forum, where I post telecommute jobs I come across. I also do freelance work for anyone who wants an article written or a blog post done here and there, nothing steady. I get a few orders now and then so that's enough to make me happy ;) Although I am super busy with work I make sure I am finished working by 3 pm; then I don't even THINK about work until the next day ;)

With that being said, this new transition has allowed me to find more free time for vacationing with my family and doing other things I love, like blogging and frolicking in the meadows. My Witchlets are eager to learn more about Paganism and this summer we are going to hit the books!

As some of you ma already know, besides doing a bit of plaid blogging on the side, also work for ChaCha - and I LOVE it!

Never heard of ChaCha? It's this really cool site on the Internet that hires people to answer the questions texted or called in by its customers. So, if someone has a question they'd like to know the answer to, they can call 1-800-2CHACHA or text 242242 with their questions.
An Expeditor like me, will succinct the question and get it into it's proper category and then send the question off to a Guide, who then looks the answer up on the Web, and then sends it back to the customer.

I really enjoy this job and I've made close to $100 already. This is a great way to make some extra cash for Yule gifts! The best part (besides the money, lol) is that I can work any time I want. There are no set hours.
