I have been following the story of Caylee Anthony who was last seen on June 9, 2008. Her grandmother notified police that Caylee was missing on July 15, 2008.

Caylee Anthony's mother, Casey Marie Anthony, was arrested and charged with child neglect after failing to report her daughter's disappearance. On July 22, 2008, a bail hearing was held and a bond of $500,000 was set for Casey Anthony.

I am just dumbfounded by this. WHY would you wait 5 weeks before reporting your child missing? Afraid of being looked at as a suspect maybe?

I am siting here with the news on right now and there are reports of a concrete slab found in the grandparent's back yard - a fresh slab, less than a month old.
