I had been feeling lazy and unmotivated and now I feel refreshed and ready to accomplish something today!
How about you? What's the weather like where you are?
The sun has been very bright here lately. Almost blinding. That coupled with the 8" of rain we had last Saturday has made it very hot and muggy. Ahh the coastal plains of Texas...where we have 3 seasons: hot, hotter, and hot and humid.
It's beautiful here today. It's sunny, with the possibility of a thunderstorm looming on the horizon. It's warm and summer is so close! Lilacs and geraniums heavily scent the air :)
Well Summer is being felt here in FL -- the mugginess has returned (I really don't like the majority of FL weather I am still a Northerner at heart -- I am overweight and am prone to heat rashes, so muggy and me disagree) I prefer it when it is cooler or just warm sans mugginess that feels like you're caught in the bathroom after a really hot shower, but you have your hair down and fully clothed. :( But inside is great! :)
It's rainy and dreary. But, I think that I prefer the rain and the light chill on the air to bright, sunshiny days. When it's rainy, I feel more connected to the Earth, and when it's sunny, I feel more connected to the people around me (not that I don't like my family or anything. ^^).
We need the rain to appreciate the sun and vice versa. Toda is goign to be a lot more humid so I'm starting my yard work early. Here in Manheim,, PA is is a beautiful morning, the kitties are fed, the brids outside are singing wondrously and Ii am thankful for this glorius start to this day. 8-)
WOW--you all have such a different outlook on weather, it's interesting! I hope everyone has a blessed day no matter what Mother Nature has in store!
The weather where we are had rain for 3 days straight. It made me feel very sleepy and lazy, but I was able to get tons of desk work done and still have time to spend with me little darlings. We made a pretend tent using the dining room table and drew pictures together.
Now the sun is shining brightly again and many of the plants in the garden have almost tripled in size! It's so invigorating to see nature's abundance at work :-). Great blog and blessings to you and your family.
