So, I'm curious - what do think of Season 3 of American Horror Story? I loved Season 1 - it was suspenseful and spooky. Season 2 didn't hold my interest, I only got through a few episodes. This one, Season 3, I'm not sure about.
Basing my opinion purely o entertainment value, I'd say it looks entertaining. However, I don't know...once again it seems like we'll have to start all over again, defending and explaining real witches and witchcraft and how it 'really' is...

For Beltane, CJ and I took the kids to Spoutwood farm for a festival. This year, we did not encounter any protestors but we went on the first day of the festive during the week and not on the weekend. As I’ve blogged about before, the previous year we encountered several protesters that actually came up and grabbed our children.
This year it seemed like they had better crowd control as they had makeshift stanchions set up to guide festivalgoers to the entry gate. This seemed to increase safety and made it easier to navigate through the fields and gardens during the short walk from the parking locations to the gates.
CJ and I want to make our rounds at many festivals this year to get the kids excited about all of the festivities that surround our holidays. I can only hope that other festivals have everything under control like Spoutwood did this year.
Well, no, not really...but it is damn funny!
Slip of the tongue!
I find it amusing at how flabbergasted this guy got over a simple verbal slip up. I mean, correct yourself, gather your composure and move on, don't dwell on it and feed the fire, so to speak!
In any event, for entertainment like this, church may be the place to be! Hahaha
That's how I felt on Friday night. I thought I'd give an update on the evening's events since my friend, Shawn (who has a great blog, by the way) asked how things went.
The first band that went on was Seduce the Machine and well, I have to say, they were AWFUL! Eeegads!
I was impressed with War of Ages, they really knew how to work the crowd!
The band *I* was really looking forward to seeing, was Soilwork and I was actually a bit disappointed in their performance. Personally, I think they got shown up by War of Ages!
Throwdown was the headliner and they kicked ass, as expected!
Zyon and I were in the front row and not 5 feet behind us was the mosh pit but we didn't get too beat up, LOL.
It was a great night. I used to think I was *too old* for that stuff but now I know I am not! Can't wait to see another show!
I am so excited! Zyon and I are going to see Soilwork AND Throwdown tonight!
A night out!!! I mean, this is not dinner and maybe some shopping. This is like it used to be, a kick ass show and coming home late.
It's been so long since he and I actually went out like this. I think the last time was well over a year and a half ago. It's nights like these that brought us close. These are the things we have in common and after becoming parents it seemed as if we kind of grew apart in some respect. He'd still go to a show once in a while and I'd stay home with the witchlets. Not anymore! I bribed my mom into coming over tonight , LOL
