We're back from Disney - we've been back almost a week already, I'm still trying to get caught up with work and life in general.
One day we were at Animal Kingdom park - there was a decorated tree at the entrance. All 3 Witchlets made mention of the pentagrams on it, LOL :) Do you see them?
By the time you read this we will already be on the road to Walt Disney World! Yule was awesome and the rest of the weekend was a blur, but I was able to keep this trip a surprise from the Witchlets!
I packed up everything (even my new Dermalogica and jane iredale products, heehee love them!) and the boys didn't even notice I was packing - I am good! Sooo, we'll be back next year! If you want to stay in the loop, I post real time updates and photos on my blog - Disney Family's Adventures and Plans as well as my Disney Facebook Page so keep up with me there :)
We got back from Disney on Saturday, Oct. 13th and I am still NOT back to a routine. I just feel, blah. The trip was the best/worst trip yet. I haven't the energy to start writing the trip report.
Here is a picture of the train station at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom the night of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party:
I'm trying to get work done (right now I'm supposed to be researching annuity quotes) but pfft, forget it! I am much too excited/anxious/stressed out because we are going on vacation in 10 days! We leave for Disney on Oct. 6th and will be back Oct. 13th - so next weekend!
This will be our 8th trip together for CJ and I and the 7th as a family (in March we went sans the Witchlets) and every time we go it's even more enjoyable! This time my BFFs Cherie and Stacey are going, as well as my mother-in-law and my nephew. He is 11 and has never been there! Can't wait to see the look on his face!
Speaking of 'looks on people's faces' - check out CJ when were were there in March, in Mexico....
Today is our second day in Disney! We are having a marvelous time! Here is a shot of us at Disney's Hollywood Studios - we had someone take a picture for us, should have not been looking in the sun, LOL. I found this border and thought it made the photo kinda look like a tarot card :)
On Monday, CJ and I leave for Disney sans the Witchlets - for our "DisneyMoon". Feel free to come to Disney with us and take a break from reality! We are staying at the Beach Club Villas:
Here is our 'tentative' itinerary:
Monday, March 5th - dinner at 7:15pm - Yachtsman Steakhouse - Disney's Yacht Club Resort
Tuesday, March 6th - lunch at 11:45am - Restaurant Marrakesh - Epcot
Tuesday, March 6th - dinner at 8:15pm - Bistro de Paris - Epcot
Wednesday, March 7th - dinner at 8:15pm - Paradiso 37, Taste of the Americas - Downtown Disney - West Side
Thursday, March 8th - dinner at 7:30pm - California Grill - Disney's Contemporary Resort
Friday, March 9th - breakfast at 9:35am - Cape May Cafe - Disney's Beach Club Resort
Guess I better read up on calorie burner 643 side effects since I think I'll need something to take in order to keep from coming home 10 pounds heavier! LOL
The last 6 months have been extremely stressful. This trip is something we both really need. I know I will miss my little Witchlets terribly though :(
We return Friday, March 9th around 9:30pm so I will 'see' you all upon our return. Blessed Be well everyone )O(
Oh, it feels like an eternity since I updated, I am so sorry! We got back from vacation and got not so good news regarding a few things that I really do not want to get into. Anyway, on the upside, we had a fabulous time in Disney World! Here are a few pictures from the trip:
Now back to work AND thinking about the upcoming holidays. Cyber Week will be here before I know it and I must get my clients prepared!
So, how are you?
We are in Walt Disney World right now, staying at Bay Lake Tower. We went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Sunday and had a blast! CJ hasn't transferred all the pictures from the camera to the computer yet, but I have some good one here.
There is no denying that vacations at Walt Disney World require a lot of walking. I told CJ this, before our first trip there together in 2008. He had ankle surgery when he was born and always has to wear an ankle brace. I guess he didn't really believe me because he ws just as worn out as Dane was!
He said by the middle of the trip his ankle was 'trashed' and I told him he should have gotten a Donjoy stabilizing ankle brace instead of some cheap CVS brand.
Who am I to talk though, I don't have ankle problems like he does but all the walking did me in too! LOL
Then I thought about plain old responsibility. It is kind of like losing weight the old fashioned way--a good diet, plenty of exercise, an adequate sleep. To get us out of debt we need to stop daydreaming (and posting on Facebook, lol) and spend more time concentrating on working and making money to actually PAY the bills we have incurred on our last trip.
I think sometimes it becomes too easy to look outside of ourselves, instead, and scramble for any other option to get us out of messes--instead of just taking care of business the way we know, deep down inside, business needs to be handled.
I am personally trying to not only teach my Witchlets accountability and responsibility but I am also trying to get myself to master these things. It is much too easy to place blame elsewhere or look to others for a fix when it is obvious we ourselves can solve our own issues.
So now, we pay off the debt we created during our last Disney trip and work towards saving for the ext trip, which is in 2 months and 26 days! Wen will be spending another 10 days in Walt Disney World and we will be celebrating Samhain there again too!
This happened because some unexpected bills arrived - those truly give me grief because I try my best to plan for everything but even having some money aside for the unexpected is sometimes not enough. This happens to be one of those times.
CJ and I both work in an industry where we rely on clients to pay us for our work. Sometimes we do not receive payment on time from certain clients. Actually, not sometimes; how about many times? UGH! I knew this is how it would be when I decided to work for myself. I just did not realize how often I would have to chase people for payment, it is ridiculous!
Anyway, okay, breathe! Today is New Moon! Time for new beginnings! Time to get in a positive mindset and get motivated. July is going to be a busy month with work but at least we will (hopefully) be all caught up on bills. I will definitely plan better for our next trip so this doesn't ever happen again.
One early morning I took this picture of the breezeway between Bay Lake Tower and the Contemporary Resort. Such a peaceful and serene morning.
We had a few days of down time, now we're at Bay Lake Tower with CJ's mom; who by the way, has finally earned her degree in alternative medicine from an online university, and his niece and nephew.
They are here until Saturday, then they go home and we head to the Animal Kingdom Lodge until Monday.
Just checking in! We've been in Disney at the All Star Movies Resort since Friday--moving to Bay Lake Tower today!
Last year we watched Wishes fireworks from the Top of the World lounge. Poor Dante couldn't really see though, he looked like he needed a chair to stand on and a pair of bushnell binoculars to see with! LOL...
I am posting real time updates on my Disney Vacation Trip Reports blog--if anyone's interested.
I am supposed to be reading up on an hgh releaser but instead I'm daydreaming about our upcoming Disney vacation, LOL.
Hey, we leave in 12 days! AND...this time we are getting 10 full days there while staying at three different resorts - something we have never done before! I hope someone goes on Space Mountain with me this year!
We will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the first time, can't wait!!!
We have our next Disney vacation set for June 19-25 and I cannot wait!! Going to be a lot of walking, hope I'm in good enough shape to endure it all. Maybe I should have looked into that personal trainer program I saw...LOL
Our first stop will be the Magic Kingdom--it HAS to be the very first place visited when we arrive the the very last place we visit before we leave. Disney really is a magickal place :)
We'll still be celebrating Samhain here at home but it sure was fun to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the magic Kingdom in Disney World! I've been working on the trip report, check it out here: Disney Vacation Trip Reports.
Oh, and check this out--talk about indulgence and celebrating! If you're planning a trip to Disney, make sure you pack some potent fat burners because the food there is to DIE for! We went to Ghirardelli in Downtown Disney on our last night there and I got this yummy dessert:
Merry Meet! We just returned from a wonderful vacation in Walt Disney World! We celebrated Halloween in the Magic Kingdom by attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party.
Our next trip is in June 2011! Can't wait!
It's the week before vacation--need I say more? Yes, VERY busy! Trying to get caught up and then ahead with work, shopping for items needed for vacation, and I've also been helping a friend try to find a job; she is looking for accounting jobs but really any type of job involving math is her passion. (YUK!)
We are going to Disney World! Our first night there we have dinner reservations at 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort:
This is where we usually stay but since becoming Disney Vacation Club members we have been trying out other resorts. In May we stayed at Bay Lake Tower and this trip we're staying at Saratoga Springs Resort.

In the meantime, I will have posts written up and scheduled for publishing on this blog ;-)
I hope you all have a Blessed and Magickal Full Moon. Mine was spent packing the last minute essentials for vacation. Then my BFF called to tell me she doesn't think she will be able to come on vacation with us; long story short - something shitty has happened and it's now a $ issue. To say I am bummed is an understatement :( I will know more later, she is due to fly into Orlando on Monday so there's still hope.
In the meantime, I am still super excited about our upcoming trip AND the trip we have planned for October - YAYAYA!
By the way, I created another blog 'Disney Vacation Trip Reports' to document this trip.
In addition to the new blog, I also created a Facebook Fan Page and a Twitter account as well!
So now, when we're on vacation I will be posting real time updates to the new blog which will in turn post to the Facebook Fan Page and Twitter! Once we're back, I'll have wonderful documentation of our trip and will be able to write up a nice trip report without missing anything!
I hope you'll subscribe to the new blog and become a fan/follower!
