We don't have a garden (yet) so I've been thinking it's time to get a window box to plant herbs in. I would like to start this now and have some fall herbs, such as rosemary, sage, thyme and mint.

If you grow herbs, what do you grow them in? Do you have a garden or do you use window boxes? What types of herbs have you had success with?

I'm looking for a bit of advice and suggestions!
