I thought now was a good time to get Olivia familiar with tarot. I want her to pick her own deck, one that calls to her but before doing that, I wanted her to have a basic understanding of tarot. I have the Rider-Waite Tarot deck and never really used it much. I prefer my Dragon deck, so I offered her the Rider-Waite deck because I feel it is simple, perfect for learning.

Of course I had her smudge the deck first. We used a sage smudge stick to cleanse the deck and remove any lingering energies from it.

Recently I have had a few people come to me to do a tarot reading for them and unfortunately I have had to decline.

It's certainly not that I don't want to do tarot reading for others, it is more that I don't feel I can. When I do a reading for myself,  I rely on the energy coming from the cards, playing off of my own energy.

I can't imagine doing a reading for someone else, especially if they are not in the room with me. I always wondered how true tarot card readers, who offer to read cards for others, manage to do it.

I hope I haven't offended those I've had ti turn down. If you are able to read cards for other people, I would love some insight on how you do it!!!

By the way, the Dragon Tarot deck is my absolute favorite deck!

I have several favorite tarot decks but the Dragon Tarot deck is the one that is really in tune with me and vice versa.
I have a huge affinity for Dragons.

It's been a while since I've utilized my deck. I think maybe it's time to brush up on my divination skills.
